9 members of Int’l narcotic networks held: DGP

The Punjab Police have arrested nine members of an international drug smuggling cartel and seized 22 kg of opium. Besides it, six customs officials have been booked in connection with the case and 30 bank accounts x were frozen, said Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav in his post on X formerly known as Twitter on Sunday.  He said the police have also arrested an opium agriculturist and procurement collector with 12 Kg opium from Jharkhand.
