Israel on Thursday confirmed that it has received an initial list of hostages to be released by Hamas. “Pursuant to the arrival of a list of the names of the hostages who are due to be released first in the first stage of the outline that has been agreed upon, liaison officers have informed all of those families whose loved ones appear on the list, as well as all of the hostages’ families,” according to an official release issued by the Israel Prime Minister office.
“Additional credible information will be issued as necessary. The public is urged to refrain from disseminating rumors and unofficial information. The media are requested not to publish the list of names until the return of our hostages to Israel,” the Israel Prime Minister’s Office further said.
