The Election Commission of India on Thursday issued a show-cause notice to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his “panauti”, “pickpocket” and “loan waiver for the super-rich” jibes at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during Rajasthan assembly elections. Taking note of the BJP complaint alleging violation of the Model Code of Conduct, the ECI has asked Rahul Gandhi to file a reply in the case by November 25.
