Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday addressed thousands of NCC cadets at the annual PM Rally in Delhi, laying out a vision for India’s next 25 years built around its youth. He declared this “transformative era” wouldn’t just witness a developed India but would primarily benefit young people, not himself.
Modi emphasized empowering youth through education and skill development initiatives like the new National Education Policy and Smart School Campaign. He highlighted advancements in education, including improved university rankings, increased medical seats, and the establishment of new IITs and AIIMS.
Economically, the Prime Minister pointed to campaigns like “Make in India” and “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” as avenues for creating new jobs and aligning with youth aspirations. He praised India’s booming digital economy, mobile manufacturing, and e-commerce, urging young people to seize these opportunities.

Modi also highlighted the government’s commitment to inclusivity, showcasing the transformation of border villages into “Vibrant Villages” and the growing international participation and inclusivity of the NCC rally.
He stressed on women’s empowerment and highlighted the 75th Republic Day’s “Nari Shakti” theme and the increasing contributions of Indian women in diverse fields, including the armed forces. He cited initiatives like opening defense roles, permanent commissions, and fighter pilot training for women, showing the sharp rise in female participation in security forces.
The Prime Minister expressed unwavering faith in the youth’s ability to shape India’s future. He urged them to actively participate through platforms like “MY Bharat Organization” while declaring, “You are the architect of a Viksit Bharat (developed India).”
