Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reflecting on his recent visits to the UAE and Qatar, emphasized the unprecedented global positivity surrounding India, asserting that nations worldwide are expressing confidence and trust in India’s growth trajectory. “Even as ‘Modi ki guarantee’ gains prominence domestically, the world views India as a guarantee for superior returns,” remarked the Prime Minister.
Highlighting investor confidence, Modi noted India’s departure from the trend of governments shying away from investments as elections approach. “Global investors place their trust in the government’s policies and stability,” he stated, citing a similar trend in Uttar Pradesh.
Modi underscored that contemporary development projects aren’t solely evaluated based on investment figures but present a comprehensive vision for a brighter future, instilling hope in investors.
At the fourth groundbreaking ceremony of the UP Global Investors Summit 2023, the Prime Minister inaugurated 14,000 projects across Uttar Pradesh, collectively valued at over Rs 10 lakh crores. These projects span various sectors including Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, IT & ITeS, Food Processing, Housing & Real Estate, Hospitality, Entertainment, and Education.
Addressing the Viksit Bharat Viksit Uttar Pradesh program in Lucknow, Modi hailed it as a significant stride towards the realization of a developed India through the advancement of Uttar Pradesh. He commended the technological advancements enabling participation from citizens across more than 400 constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, highlighting the transformation since 7-8 years ago.
Reflecting on Uttar Pradesh’s progress, Modi lauded the state’s transition from high crime rates to an environment conducive to investments and employment opportunities. “Today, Uttar Pradesh witnesses investments worth lakhs of crores,” he rejoiced, acknowledging his constituency Varanasi’s advancement.
Attributing the state’s success to the seven years of a double-engine government, Modi praised the shift from a ‘red tape culture’ to a ‘red carpet culture’, heralding an era of business, development, and trust. He cited a surge in exports, advancements in electricity generation and transmission, extensive expressway networks, international airports, and the country’s first rapid rail system in Uttar Pradesh.
Commending the utilization of river waterways for connectivity, PM Modi applauded Uttar Pradesh’s strides in transportation infrastructure, epitomizing the state’s progress and potential.
