Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday urged digital content creators to focus their creative energies on showcasing India’s rich culture and heritage to the global audience. Speaking at the ‘National Creators Award’ ceremony held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, he emphasized the importance of engaging international viewers through compelling content.

“Let’s initiate a ‘Create on India’ movement, uniting to narrate India’s story to the world. Craft content that resonates not just with you, but also garners appreciation for our nation. To achieve this, it’s imperative to connect with a global audience,” said the Prime Minister.

Acknowledging digital creators as crucial representatives of India on the global platform, he hailed them as ‘digital ambassadors’ responsible for portraying the nation’s essence worldwide. Modi highlighted their ability to transcend geographical barriers instantaneously, describing them as advocates of the ‘vocal for local’ ethos and champions of innovation.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister commended the creative endeavors of digital creators, acknowledging their contributions in addressing diverse topics and issues, both within the country and across the globe.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister presented the inaugural National Creators Award at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The ceremony aimed to recognize and celebrate individuals who utilize creativity to drive positive change.

The Prime Minister also interacted with the awardees. Abhi and New were honored with the ‘New India Champion’ award for their innovative approach to presenting factual content. The Prime Minister commended their efforts in navigating a challenging yet crucial field. Keerthika Govindhasamy, acclaimed as the Best Storyteller, shared insights into her linguistic challenges with the Prime Minister, who encouraged her to communicate in her preferred language for broader outreach. Ranveer Allahbadia, recipient of the Disruptor of the Year award, was urged by the Prime Minister to raise awareness about sleep deprivation and embrace the benefits of Yog Nidra.

Pankti Pandey, a former ISRO scientist, received the Green Champion Award for her advocacy of Mission LiFE. The Prime Minister praised her dedication and encouraged further study of environmental initiatives. Jaya Kishori, hailed as the “Meera of modern times,” was honored with the Award for Best Creative for Social Change for her insightful presentations of ancient Indian epics. Lakshya Dabas, recognized as the Most Impactful Agri Creator, received praise from the Prime Minister for his innovative contributions to agricultural practices.

Maithili Thakur, the Cultural Ambassador of the Year, performed a devotional song at the Prime Minister’s request, showcasing India’s rich musical heritage. The Best International Creator Award was presented to Kiri Paul, Drew Hicks, and Cassandra Mae Spittmann, with Hicks expressing gratitude for his familial ties to India.

Kamiya Jani, celebrated for her travel content, received the Best Travel Creator award, emphasizing the importance of showcasing India’s beauty to the world. Gaurav Chaudhary, known as ‘Technical Guruji,’ was honored with the Tech Creator Award, highlighting the role of Digital India in his success. Malhar Kalambe, recipient of the Swachhata Ambassador Award, was commended for his dedication to cleanliness initiatives.

Jahnvi Singh, recognized as the Heritage Fashion Icon, was praised for her efforts to promote Indian textiles and culture.

Shraddha, recipient of the Best Creative Creator – Female award, was lauded for her comedic talents and ability to address serious issues with humor. RJ Raunaq, honored as the Best Creative Creator – Male, was commended for his contributions to the radio industry. Kabita’s Kitchen was named the Best Creator in the Food Category, with the Prime Minister humorously advising her to ensure proper nutrition for her lean physique.

Naman Deshmukh, awarded for his contributions to education, was praised for his efforts to raise awareness about online safety and government schemes. Ankit Baiyanpuria, a fitness influencer, received the Best Health and Fitness Creator Award, promoting the importance of a balanced lifestyle.

‘​Triggered Insaan’ Nischay was recognized as the Gaming Creator, acknowledging his contributions to the gaming community. Aridaman, honored as the Best Micro Creator, emphasized the importance of ancient Indian wisdom and spirituality. Piyush Purohit, recipient of the Best Nano Creator Award, was praised for his efforts to highlight lesser-known aspects of Indian culture. Aman Gupta, CEO of boAT and a prominent figure on Shark Tank India, was honored as the Best Celebrity Creator, reflecting on his journey since the inception of Startup India.
