Prime Minister Narendra Modi has responded to Bulgaria President Rumen Radev concerning the Indian Navy’s successful rescue of the hijacked Bulgarian ship “Ruen” and its crew members, including seven Bulgarian citizens. PM Modi expressed gratitude and reiterated India’s dedication to safeguarding freedom of navigation and combating piracy and terrorism in the Indian Ocean region. “Appreciate your message President of Republic of Bulgaria. We are happy that 7 Bulgarian nationals are safe and will be returning home soon. India is committed to protecting freedom of navigation and combating piracy and terrorism in the Indian Ocean region,” the Prime Minister stated in his post on the social media platform X, previously known as Twitter.
