Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on July 8, where both leaders will engage in discussions on matters of regional and global importance. Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra shared these details during a press conference, highlighting a busy agenda filled with significant engagements between the two leaders.
Upon his arrival on July 8, President Putin will host a private dinner for Prime Minister Modi, signaling the start of their deliberations. The following day, Modi’s itinerary includes interactions with the Indian community in Russia, a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Kremlin, and visits to important exhibition venues in Moscow.
The summit will reach its pinnacle with crucial talks, commencing with private discussions between Modi and Putin, followed by extensive negotiations at the delegation level. These discussions aim to reinforce bilateral relations across diverse sectors, underscoring the enduring partnership between India and Russia.
