PM Modi speaks with Palestinian President Abbas

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday spoke to the President of the Palestinian Authority H.E. Mahmoud Abbas and conveyed condolences at the loss of civilian lives at the Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza. While sharing information on the social media platform X, the Prime Minister said that “spoke to the President of the Palestinian Authority H.E. Mahmoud Abbas. Conveyed my condolences at the loss of civilian lives at the Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza.”
“We will continue to send humanitarian assistance for the Palestinian people”. Shared our deep concern at the terrorism, violence and deteriorating security situation in the region. Reiterated India’s long-standing principled position on the Israel-Palestine issue.” Prime Minister Modi further said on the social media platform.
Meanwhile sharing information on X, the spokesperson for External Affairs Ministry, Arindam Bagchi, said that “in view of the ongoing developments in Israel and Palestine, a 24-hour control room has been set up at @MEAIndia to monitor the situation and provide information and assistance. In addition, 24-hour emergency helplines have been set up at @indemtel & @ROIRamallah.”
