In his address to the cadets and NSS volunteers on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi affectionately dubbed them the ‘Amrit Peedhi,’ despite their widespread identification as the ‘GenZ.’ Modi expressed confidence that the ‘Amrit Peedhi’ would lead the nation to greater heights.
Acknowledging attendees’ commitment amid Delhi’s harsh winter, Modi hailed the diverse experiences of India’s states. He urged the youth to embrace “Nation First” and contribute to Viksit Bharat.
Modi emphasized seizing the present moment, fostering discipline, and expanding knowledge. He outlined opportunities in space, defense, education, and research, promoting reforms like attaining higher education in the mother tongue. He encouraged research, and innovation, and highlighted opportunities for girl students in the army and Sainik schools.

Delighted with the volunteers’ focus, Modi stressed personality development through discipline, travel, and fitness. He announced ‘My Yuva Bharat’ and urged youth to register as volunteers. During Republic Day, he invited participation in various programs, historical site visits, and urged recording experiences on the NaMo App.
The Prime Minister praised women participants for representing their states and traditions on Rashtriya Balika Diwas. The PM highlighted Bharat Ratna for Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur, emphasizing his dedication to social justice. Modi linked government initiatives to Thakur’s inspiration, focusing on the poor and Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
In conclusion, Modi expressed faith in the youth, urging them to study hard, be responsible citizens, protect the environment, and cherish India’s heritage.
Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Anurag Singh Thakur, and Arjun Munda were also present on the occasion.
