In a historic victory, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) clinched a resounding victory in the Hindi heartland states, securing a commanding two-thirds majority in Madhya Pradesh. The party also celebrated comfortable wins in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh during Sunday’s assembly elections.
The landslide victory in Madhya Pradesh not only solidifies the BJP’s stronghold in the region but also underscores the party’s significant influence and support among voters. With a decisive mandate, the BJP reaffirms its position as a dominant political force in these crucial states. Simultaneously, the Congress party marked a significant win in Telangana, dethroning the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (TRS).
While addressing the party workers at the BJP headquarters after a successful run in the Assembly elections of 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that some people are saying that today’s hat-trick in the assembly elections has guaranteed a hat-trick of 2024 and these election results will instill confidence in investors worldwide. The Prime Minister said that the echoes of these election results will not be confined to just Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh. The resonance of these results will reach far and wide.“The reverberations of these election results will be heard across the globe. These election outcomes will enhance the confidence of the world in India’s development,” he said.
Amidst the happiness of winning in elections in three states, Modi said that today’s triumph is historic and unprecedented. This day signifies the success of the vision for a developed India. “It signifies the triumph of state development for the overall progress of India. Today stands as a victory for honesty, transparency, and good governance,” he added.

“Today, it is our good fortune that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra
Modiji, we have got a landlside victory. We thank him wholeheartedly. Whenever
the BJP has fought an election, PM Modi has always led the campaigns from the front,”
BJP president JP Nadda said while addressing the BJP workers at the party’s headquarters here in the
national capital.
“Desh mein ek hi guarantee chalti hai, woh hai Modi ki guarantee. From the results of the
assembly polls, it is evident that the country has now understood that if there is someone
who can empower the poor, backward classes, STs and SCs, it is PM Narendra Modi. It is
him who can bring them into the mainstream of the country,” he added.
