Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday criticized BJP leaders for casting doubts on the patriotism of a Sikh police officer in West Bengal. In a statement released today, Mann expressed disappointment over the saffron party’s questioning of the Sikh community’s loyalty, renowned for its patriotism and nationalism. He reminded BJP leaders of the numerous sacrifices made by Punjabis and Sikhs for India’s freedom.
Mann highlighted the significant contribution of Sikh farmers to India’s self-sufficiency in food production. He also emphasized the sacrifices made by Punjab’s brave individuals in defending the nation’s borders.
