CHANDIGARH, MARCH 12
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann urged the people of the state to elect proactive Members of Parliament (MPs), emphasizing the importance of representation that actively safeguards Punjab’s interests. He urged voters to consider the absence of their MPs during critical moments when Punjab faced challenges, questioning their silence amidst industrial downturns and farmer protests against contentious laws. Mann asserted that leaders who remained passive during crucial times did not merit votes and should be replaced with committed representatives.
Highlighting the Punjab government’s dedication to public welfare, Mann called for securing victory for the party across all 13 Lok Sabha seats to effectively counter the Union government’s discriminatory policies. He stressed that strengthening AAP’s presence with a 13-0 victory would accelerate the state’s development trajectory through enhanced representation.
Mann envisaged that the “Sarkar Vyapaar Milnis” initiative would invigorate economic growth by fostering active collaboration between the government, traders, and industrialists. Speaking at the event, Mann emphasized its role in prioritizing public welfare, lamenting the lack of similar initiatives under previous administrations. He criticized past leaders for their detachment from common citizens, advocating for a more inclusive and responsive governance approach.
