Dr. S Jaishankar, the Minister of External Affairs, emphasized the enduring strength of India’s relationship with Russia during a meeting with a delegation led by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow on Wednesday. Highlighting the robust nature of the ties, Jaishankar reaffirmed their commitment to the special and privileged strategic partnership.
“Our relationship has remained strong and steady, evidenced by our frequent interactions. This marks our seventh meeting this year, with our leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Putin, maintaining consistent communication,” stated Jaishankar. He also noted the anticipation of robust Russian participation at the Vibrant Gujarat meeting scheduled for January.
