In a significant development, the BJP has formed an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Jana Sena Party in Andhra Pradesh.
TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said that the agreement has been finalized, expressing confidence that the alliance will dominate the state’s Assembly elections, anticipated to coincide with the Lok Sabha polls.
Confirming the development, former Chief Minister Naidu told the media, “Andhra Pradesh has suffered greatly. The collaboration between BJP and TDP is advantageous for both the nation and the state” . “I wholeheartedly welcome the decision of Shri @ncbn and Shri @PawanKalyan to join the NDA family. Under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Hon. PM Shri @narendramodi ji, BJP, TDP, and JSP are committed to the progress of the country and the upliftment of the state and people of Andhra Pradesh,” said BJP president J P Nadda in his post on X formerly known as Twitter.
