The News Freedom

Chandigarh, November  7

In a heartwarming celebration, Punjab’s Sports Minister, Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, aged 33, tied the knot with Dr Gurveen Kaur, a radiologist from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The wedding ceremony, rich in Sikh traditions, was graced by the presence of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and several other cabinet ministers.

The Anand Karaj, a sacred Sikh marriage ceremony, took place at Kothi No 327 in Sector-9, Chandigarh and the celebrations continued at the Forest Hill Resort in Nayagaon, where a grand wedding party was hosted.

After the formation of AAP government in the state, Hayer is the third minister to get married. Recently,  Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains got married to IPS officer Dr Jyoti Yadav.  Chief Minister  Mann tied the knot with Gurpreet Kaur last year. Besides it,  AAP Rajya Sabha member  Raghav Chadha and Parineeti got married in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur on September 24.

Here are some of the photographs of wedding ceremony
