Breaking his silence on December 13’s breach, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged restraint from fueling debates or resistance while emphasizing the need for a comprehensive investigation and swift, effective solutions.
Speaking exclusively to Dainik Jagran, the Prime Minister stressed the severity of the breach, cautioning against underestimating its implications. “The seriousness of the incident that happened in Parliament should not be underestimated at all,” Modi stated. He highlighted the proactive measures initiated by the government to rectify the breach and fortify security measures.
Acknowledging the Speaker’s involvement in addressing the issue with utmost seriousness, Modi emphasized the stringent investigations underway by law enforcement agencies. “The investigating agencies are investigating the matter strictly,” he confirmed, underlining the importance of delving deeper to understand the motives and elements behind the breach.
Furthermore, Modi called for unity in seeking resolutions, stating, “Solutions should also be found with one mind. Everyone should avoid debate or resistance on such topics.” His words echoed a plea for collective cooperation to address the security concerns without succumbing to divisive debates or dissent.
