Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes at the Rashtriya Samar Smarak in the national capital today. He said that we remember and honour those who selflessly defended our nation. “Paid tributes at the Rashtriya Samar Smarak. We remember and honour those who selflessly defended our nation. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten. We bow to them in solemn respect and gratitude, vowing to uphold the ideals they stood for,” the Prime Minister said in his post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The Rashtriya Samar Smarak is a war memorial dedicated to the Indian soldiers who died in the line of duty. It is located in New Delhi, near India Gate.
