Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron held productive discussions in Jaipur to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries. This meeting signifies the close ties and strong cooperation between India and France, and paves the way for even greater collaboration in the future.

In a display of cultural diplomacy, Prime Minister Modi and President Macron of France also visited the Jaipur’s famed Jantar Mantar observatory on Thursday. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, steeped in India’s astronomical heritage, resonated with both leaders, symbolizing the shared value of blending ancient wisdom with modern science.
The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for Macron’s choice to begin his India visit in Jaipur, a vibrant region teeming with rich culture, heritage, and talented individuals. The Prime Minister further expressed his pride in Macron’s upcoming participation in India’s Republic Day celebrations, emphasizing how his presence not only strengthens bilateral ties but also adds a significant chapter to the storied friendship and collaboration between the two nations.
