The outreach came ahead of a scheduled visit by the Ukrainian Foreign Minister to New Delhi.
Taking to the microblogging platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Prime Minister Modi disclosed his discussions with President Putin, extending congratulations on his re-election as the President of the Russian Federation. Modi underscored their mutual commitment to bolster the India-Russia Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership in the foreseeable future.
