The protracted strike of the Punjab State Agricultural Service Society Employees Union today found a resolution, courtesy of the determined efforts led by Dr. Baljit Kaur, the Minister of Social Security, Women, and Child Development.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government has consistently demonstrated its dedication to the welfare of all sections of society, including the well-being of its employees.
Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur, in a meeting at her office in the Punjab Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh, directed Cooperative Department officers to promptly address the legitimate demands of the union. The meeting provided a constructive platform to discuss and deliberate on various demands, including concerns about staff recruitment in the societies and the margin of fertilizer in these societies.
Dr. Baljit Kaur, during the meeting, listened attentively to the union representatives’ requests. After a thorough consideration of the union’s demands, she assured them that their legitimate requests would be acknowledged soon. Her commitment to protecting the interests of the employees was unequivocal.
The presence of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Vimal Kumar Setia, and other officials underscored the importance of this occasion in achieving a positive outcome for the concerned employees.
