Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has taken a proactive step amidst adverse weather forecasts in the region. All government, government-aided, and private schools in the state, up to 10th grade, will remain closed from January 8 to 14. Concerned about the potential health risks posed by harsh weather conditions, the Chief Minister emphasized the necessity of this decision in safeguarding the well-being of schoolchildren. Mann affirmed the government’s commitment to protecting every segment of society’s interests.
