Ram temple ceremony: Half-day for Central Government employees

In a significant announcement, the government today declared that all Central Government offices will observe a half-day closure on January 22, 2024, in honor of the ‘Pran Pratishta’ ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The celebrations are set to take place across India, allowing employees to actively participate in the significant event. The Department of Personnel and Training, through a notification, specified that the closure will extend to all central government offices, institutions, and industrial establishments throughout the country until 1430 hours on January 22.
