Anumula Revanth Reddy was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Telangana today at the expansive Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderabad, marking a historic moment for the state and the Congress party. He became the first Chief Minister from the Congress in Telangana’s young history.
Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered the oath of office to Revanth Reddy in the esteemed presence of prominent political figures, including Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, and key leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu also took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister, solidifying the leadership team for Telangana’s new government.
