In a spirited address commemorating ‘Veer Bal Diwas’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscored its emblematic significance, heralding a resolute commitment to safeguarding Bhartiyata. Emphasizing the timeless essence of bravery, he remarked that this celebration exemplifies how age becomes inconsequential in the pursuit of valorous deeds.

Characterizing it as an homage to the legacy of Sikh Gurus, particularly Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the Veer Sahibzades, the Prime Minister extolled their indomitable courage, asserting its enduring impact on every Indian today. Paying tribute to the valorous mothers who birthed these courageous souls, he recalled the sacrifices of Baba Moti Ram Mehra’s family and Diwan Todarmal’s unwavering devotion, attributing their unwavering dedication to igniting a fervent sense of devotion towards the nation.

Addressing the ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ event at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Modi reflected on the immortal sacrifices of the Veer Sahibzade, underscoring their inspirational resonance in the contemporary ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Kaal’. He reminisced about the inaugural celebrations of the first Veer Bal Diwas last year, where the tales of valor captivated the nation.

Expressing gratification over the international observance of Veer Bal Diwas in countries like the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, and Greece, the Prime Minister harked back to the historic battles of Chamkaur and Sirhind, highlighting India’s dignified response to adversity and tyranny.

Modi pointed out the global acknowledgment of India’s heritage coinciding with the country’s increased respect for its legacy. He celebrated India’s departure from a colonial mentality, embracing confidence in its capabilities, people, and inspirations. Amidst India’s pivotal role in global spheres like economy, science, research, sports, and diplomacy, Modi reiterated his clarion call from the Red Fort, proclaiming, “This is India’s time.” Stressing the significance of every moment, he urged adherence to ‘Panch Pran’ and maximizing each instance.

Highlighting the transformative phase India traverses in this ‘Amrit Kaal of Azadi’, Modi expressed optimism about the convergence of factors shaping a golden era for the country. He underscored India’s burgeoning youth population, expressing confidence in their potential to propel the nation to unprecedented heights. Referencing iconic figures from history and national heroes, he extolled their valorous contributions, invoking their spirit to inspire and guide the present generation.
