The Punjab government on Tuesday urged the Punjab and Haryana High Court to complete the recruitment process quickly during the hearing of the case regarding the recruitment of 5994 teachers.
Giving information about this, a spokesman of the Punjab government said that a case regarding the recruitment of 5994 teachers came up for hearing today before a double bench of the high court.
Representing the state government, Senior Deputy Advocate General Ramandeep Singh Pandher requested the high court that it is imperative for the Punjab Government to complete this recruitment process as soon as possible as it will help to meet the shortage of teachers in the schools. He argued that the situated of the many schools such that at present only single teachers are running the affairs in many schools.
He also disclosed that this matter is also under consideration before the Supreme Court. He pleaded before the court for an interim order so that the recruitment process could be carried out. After hearing the argument, the court fixed the next hearing of this matter on December 12.
