Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) prospects for a third term in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections during his address on Monday. Speaking virtually at the launch of railway infrastructure projects worth approximately Rs 41,000 crores, Modi said that the third term of his government would commence in June, underscoring the rapid pace and expansive scale of its endeavors.
During the event, Modi laid the foundation stones, inaugurated, and dedicated over 2000 railway infrastructure projects through video conferencing. This monumental occasion was witnessed by numerous participants connected to the Viksit Bharat Viksit Railways event from 500 railway stations and 1500 other venues.

In his address, Modi extolled the transformative ethos of New India, characterized by unprecedented speed and scale in implementing initiatives. He cited recent events in Jammu, Gujarat, and today’s projects across 12 states as examples of the government’s steadfast commitment to expanding education, health, and transportation infrastructure.
Modi hailed the railway projects as pivotal drivers of employment and self-employment opportunities, particularly for the youth, whom he commended as the primary beneficiaries of Viksit Bharat. He lauded their contributions to realizing the nation’s railway aspirations through competitions and assured them of the government’s unwavering support in building a prosperous India.
Highlighting the unique designs of upcoming Amrit Bharat Stations, Modi underscored their significance as symbols of development and heritage. Stations such as Baleshwar in Odisha, Rangpur in Sikkim, and Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu will reflect local architecture and cultural influences while also prioritizing accessibility for differently-abled individuals and senior citizens.
