Senior BJP leader Vishnu Deo Sai took oath  as the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh on Wednesday in a grand ceremony attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other dignitaries. Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Sai, 59, along with his two deputies  State BJP president Arun Sao and general secretary Vijay Sharma. The ceremony was held at the Science College ground, witnessed a gathering of prominent BJP figures, including Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and BJP party president JP Nadda.

Sai’s appointment marks a significant moment for the BJP in the state, solidifying their hold on power after their recent victory in the assembly elections. With Modi and Shah present as key witnesses, the ceremony underscored the BJP’s central role in shaping Chhattisgarh’s future.
