In a notable political shift, Naveen Jindal to contest from Kurukshetra on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket. This decision swiftly follows his departure from the Congress party to join the BJP ranks. The BJP, in its fifth list unveiled today, has nominated Jindal as its candidate from the Kurukshetra constituency. Jindal took to his social media platform, X (formerly known as Twitter), to disclose the specifics of his resignation from the Congress and his subsequent alignment with the BJP.

Reacting to Jindal resignation, senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, said that Jindal resignation from the party after a decade of zero contributions is nothing short of a farce.
